Job Summary
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Manager with 3–4 years of experience, specifically in the packaging industry, to lead and grow our sales operations. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the packaging sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve business goals in the packaging industry
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads from packaging manufacturers, distributors, and buyers
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients in the packaging sector
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, material trends (flexible packaging, rigid packaging, etc.), and industry developments
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to potential clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Coordinate with marketing and product teams for campaign execution
- Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and CRM data
- Mentor and guide junior sales executives (if applicable)

- Revenue Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales targets
- Lead Generation & Conversion: Increase qualified leads and improve conversion ratio
- Client Acquisition: Add new clients within the packaging industry and expand market reach
- Customer Retention: Maintain high client satisfaction and repeat business
- Sales Pipeline Management: Ensure healthy pipeline and accurate forecasting
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new packaging segments/markets
- Team Productivity (if applicable): Improve performance of sales team members
- Reporting & Compliance: Timely and accurate reporting of sales activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
- 3–4 years of proven sales experience in the packaging industry (mandatory)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Target-oriented with a track record of achieving sales goals
- Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of packaging materials, products, and supply chain
Preferred Skills
- Experience in flexible packaging, rigid packaging, labels, or corrugated packaging
- Leadership or team-handling experience
- Understanding of B2B and digital sales channels in packaging
