Job Summary
The Two-Wheeler Mechanic is responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance of customer motorcycles and scooters in accordance with manufacturer standards. The role requires delivering quality workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining safety and productivity in the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform periodic maintenance and scheduled servicing of two-wheelers.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and technical faults accurately.
- Carry out repairs, replacement of defective parts, and overhauls as per company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Use workshop tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-delivery inspection (PDI) for new vehicles.
- Test ride vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality.
- Ensure all job cards are completed accurately and submitted on time.
- Follow workshop safety procedures and maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Inform the Service Advisor or Workshop Supervisor about additional repair requirements.
- Support fellow technicians whenever required to meet workshop productivity targets.
- Attend technical training programs conducted by the company or vehicle manufacturers.
- Handle customer vehicles with care and maintain confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- ITI/Diploma in Motor Mechanic Vehicle (MMV), Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification from automobile manufacturers is an added advantage.
Experience
- Fresher to 3 years of experience in servicing and repairing two-wheelers.
- Experience with Bajaj, KTM, Triumph, Husqvarna, Chetak EV, Honda, Hero, TVS, Yamaha, Suzuki, or Royal Enfield dealerships is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of two-wheeler mechanical systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic components.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills.

Working Hours
