Job Title: Assistant (Accounts)
Job Summary
The Assistant will provide efficient academic, administrative, and coordination support to ensure smooth operational workflows, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with university and regulatory requirements, while supporting faculty, staff, and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day operations across accounts
- Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students for administrative and academic requirements
- Assist in preparation and maintenance of reports, MIS, and documentation for audits and regulatory submissions (NAAC, AICTE, NIRF, etc.)
- Facilitate scheduling, verification, and coordination
- Manage communication, records, and data with accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide timely support in general administration and departmental coordination
- Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process vouchers, invoices, and payment entries.
- Maintain financial documents and records for audits and compliance.
- Coordinate with departments for billing and payment-related documentation.
- Support internal and external audits.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in financial processes.

Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree from a statutory university
Professional Certifications
- Any relevant certification in office administration, accounting, or academic management is desirable but not mandatory
Professional Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounts
- Prior experience in a similar field is preferred
Skills and Competencies
- Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities with high attention to detail
- Professional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance
