We are looking for a responsible, disciplined, and caring ladies Hostel Warden to manage the day-to-day operations of our girls’ hostel. The ideal candidate should be capable of maintaining a safe, supportive, and well-organized environment for students while coordinating with management, parents, and hostel staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and ensure the safety, discipline, and well-being of hostel students.
* Monitor student attendance, in/out movements, and daily routines.
* Maintain hostel discipline and ensure compliance with hostel rules and regulations.
* Conduct regular hostel inspections and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
* Coordinate with housekeeping, kitchen, security, and other support staff.
* Handle student concerns and resolve routine issues professionally.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, permissions, incidents, and other hostel activities.
* Communicate important student-related updates to management and parents when required.
* Monitor students during study hours, meals, and other scheduled activities.
* Handle emergencies responsibly and immediately inform the appropriate management personnel.
* Ensure hostel facilities and common areas are properly maintained.
* Support management in implementing hostel policies and procedures.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a hostel warden, residential supervisor, school/college staff, or similar role is preferred.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sense of responsibility and discipline.
* Ability to handle students patiently and professionally.
* Basic computer knowledge for maintaining records.
* Willingness to work in a residential hostel environment.
