About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Manager / Assistant Manager – PMS Operations to manage end-to-end Portfolio Management Services (PMS) operations. The role involves trade execution, fund administration, portfolio accounting, client onboarding, compliance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless PMS operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, manage, and monitor multiple model portfolios through the Order Management System (OMS).
- Execute equity trades for resident and NRI clients while ensuring best execution.
- Coordinate with brokers, custodians, DP teams, and internal stakeholders for smooth trade processing.
- Perform trade confirmation, reconciliation, and resolve operational breaks.
- Manage client onboarding, account activation, redemptions, and account closures.
- Verify daily NAV, portfolio holdings, cash positions, management fees, and performance fees.
- Process and verify corporate actions including dividends, bonus issues, stock splits, and rights issues.
- Ensure timely regulatory reporting and compliance with SEBI guidelines.
- Support internal audits, exchange inspections, and operational risk management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in PMS Operations, Wealth Management Operations, Fund Accounting, Investment Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
- Strong understanding of PMS middle-office and back-office processes.
- Hands-on experience with Order Management Systems (OMS); Wealth Spectrum exposure is an added advantage.
- Experience with trading terminals such as NEAT, BOLT, ODIN, TWS, or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of trade execution, reconciliation, NAV, fund accounting, corporate actions, and client onboarding.
- Good understanding of SEBI regulations and regulatory reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory.
- NISM Series VIII certification is preferred.
