Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate, competent, and student-focused Mathematics Teacher to teach Classes IX and X. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to make Mathematics engaging and application-oriented. The teacher will be responsible for fostering critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and academic excellence among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with the CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare annual lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students' conceptual understanding and analytical thinking skills.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely academic support and feedback.
- Conduct regular assessments, examinations, and remedial classes as required.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student performance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, academic reviews, and school events.
- Prepare students for board examinations and competitive examinations where applicable.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and academic outcomes.
- Undertake duties and responsibilities assigned by the school administration from time to time.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master's Degree in Mathematics (for PGT) / Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mathematics (for TGT) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/ICSE school preferred.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, assessment practices, and board examination requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
