Indirapuram Public School, Crossings Republik is looking for a passionate, creative, and experienced Dance professional to join our team as TGT – Dance (HOD).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Dance Department and ensure effective curriculum implementation.
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons for students across grades.
- Develop age-appropriate choreography and training programmes.
- Organise and coordinate school events, annual functions, competitions and cultural programmes.
- Mentor and guide the Dance faculty and ensure effective departmental planning.
- Prepare curriculum plans, lesson plans, activity schedules and assessment frameworks.
- Identify and nurture students’ talent and encourage participation in inter-school competitions.
- Maintain departmental records and ensure timely completion of academic and co-curricular responsibilities.
- Collaborate with other departments for interdisciplinary and performing-arts activities.
- Stay updated with current trends and best practices in dance education.
Eligibility
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Dance / Performing Arts or a relevant discipline from a recognised institution.
- Relevant teaching experience in a reputed school, preferably with HOD/Department Coordinator experience.
- Strong knowledge of Indian and/or Western dance forms.
- Excellent choreography, communication, classroom-management and leadership skills.
- Ability to train students for stage performances and competitive events.
