Key Responsibilities
- Ensure tracking of departmental objectives and implement necessary corrective and preventive actions.
- Plan, execute, and maintain calibration activities for instruments, along with accurate calibration records.
- Perform calibration and preventive maintenance (PM) of instruments and equipment as per the approved schedule.
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments and provide training to team members/subordinates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory requirements related to Electrical and Instrumentation.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Automation Systems (PLC/SCADA/BMS, as applicable).
- Conduct periodic recalibration of all measuring and monitoring instruments to ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
- Promote efficient utilization of natural resources such as fuel, water, and energy by implementing conservation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
- Possess working knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, control circuits, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Star-Delta starters, Direct-On-Line (DOL) starters, Soft Starters, and related control logics.
- Prepare, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), calibration protocols, qualification documents (IQ/OQ/PQ), and associated documentation.
- Participate in and support internal, customer, and regulatory audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
- Maintain calibration traceability, documentation, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards and company procedures.
- Ensure adherence to data integrity, documentation practices, and instrument lifecycle management.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related Engineering discipline.
- 3–8 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation, Calibration, Electrical Maintenance, in the Pharmaceutical/API industry.
- Working knowledge of Automation Systems such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, and BMS.
- Sound knowledge of electrical systems, including VFDs, Star-Delta, DOL, Soft Starters, control panels, and electrical wiring.
- Good understanding of GMP, GLP, QMS, Data Integrity, EHS, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing SOPs, calibration protocols, IQ/OQ/PQ documents, and maintenance records.
Pay: From ₹350,000.00 per month
