Business Analyst – Data Engineering (GCP | Data-as-a-Product)
Experience- 8 to 10 years
- 8–10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, or Requirements Engineering on enterprise data platforms.
- Strong expertise in gathering business requirements and translating them into technical data specifications and mapping documents.
- Experience working with business stakeholders, domain SMEs, Data Architects, and SAP functional teams.
- Proficient in conducting stakeholder workshops, requirement elicitation, business process mapping, and fit-gap analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD) or similar ERP/CRM platforms such as Salesforce or PeopleSoft.
- Strong SQL skills, preferably BigQuery, for data extraction, validation, and analysis across Raw, Refined, and Curated data layers.
- Experience with GCP data governance and quality tools such as Dataplex, Data Catalog, and data profiling frameworks.
- Ability to define business rules, data quality checks, KPIs, reporting logic, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Experience managing Agile backlogs using JIRA and supporting sprint-based delivery.
- Hands-on experience supporting UAT, business validation, reconciliation, and stakeholder sign-offs.
- Skilled in maintaining data dictionaries, business glossaries, metadata, and documentation.
- Exposure to BI/reporting tools such as Looker Studio is an advantage.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, SAP Business Process, or related certifications are preferred.
Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bengaluru, Karnataka
