About Karlsburg
Karlsburg is an established Indian men's fashion brand with a growing online presence. We are looking for a responsible and organised E-Commerce Executive to manage the day-to-day operations of our online store.
This is a hands-on role for someone who is comfortable working with Shopify, handling online orders, speaking to customers and coordinating dispatches.
Job Responsibilities Shopify & Online Store
- Manage the day-to-day backend of our Shopify website.
- Update product listings, prices, images, descriptions and collections.
- Update inventory and ensure stock quantities are accurate.
- Add new products and make website updates when required.
- Check that products, prices, sizes and stock are correctly displayed online.
- Assist with updating website banners, offers and promotions.
Order Processing & Dispatch
- Check and process online orders on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with the packing and dispatch team.
- Ensure orders are packed and dispatched on time.
- Generate/arrange shipping information and update order status.
- Track shipments and follow up with courier partners when required.
- Handle cancellations, returns, exchanges and delivery-related issues.
- Maintain accurate records of orders and dispatches.
Customer Support
- Communicate with customers through WhatsApp, phone, email and website chat.
- Answer questions regarding products, sizes, availability, delivery, returns and exchanges.
- Follow up with customers regarding pending orders or issues.
- Handle customers politely and professionally.
- Escalate complicated customer issues when necessary.
Social Media
- Assist with Karlsburg's Instagram and Facebook accounts.
- Upload posts, stories and product-related content.
- Respond to basic customer comments and direct messages.
- Assist with promotions, new product launches and offers.
- Coordinate with the marketing team when required.
Basic Reporting & Administration
- Maintain basic sales, inventory and order records using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight products that need to be restocked.
- Prepare basic daily/weekly reports when required.
- Maintain accurate records of returns, exchanges and pending orders.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience in e-commerce, online sales, customer support, retail or a similar role.
- Basic to good spoken and written English.
- Comfortable speaking to customers over the phone and WhatsApp.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify or another e-commerce platform.
- Good computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets.
- Basic knowledge of Instagram and Facebook.
- Good organisational and follow-up skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Should be responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
Shopify experience is preferred but not mandatory.
We are willing to train the right candidate if they have good computer skills, communication skills and the right attitude.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who can eventually take ownership of the day-to-day online operations of Karlsburg.
You should be someone who:
- Doesn't need to be reminded about pending orders.
- Notices when stock or product information is incorrect.
- Can speak confidently and politely with customers.
- Is comfortable learning Shopify.
- Can coordinate with different teams to get orders dispatched.
- Is organised and good at following up.
- Is willing to take responsibility rather than waiting for instructions for every small task.
Qualifications
A degree or diploma in any field is acceptable.
A background in e-commerce, fashion retail, online sales, customer service or administration will be an advantage.
