What this job involves:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) Business Leader to lead one of our largest and most complex client portfolios. The role will provide overall leadership for a large-scale commercial real estate portfolio exceeding 11 million square feet and a dedicated account team of 400+ professionals.
This position goes beyond operational management. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, bringing a consulting-led mindset to workplace and facilities strategy, operating model design, vendor governance, commercial optimization, and long-term account growth.
The individual will be accountable for delivering operational excellence while driving strategic outcomes, strengthening executive relationships, identifying transformation opportunities, and ensuring sustainable business performance for both the client and JLL.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and governance for a large-scale IFM portfolio across multiple sites and business functions.
- Act as the senior accountable leader for service delivery, operational performance, client satisfaction, financial outcomes, and account growth.
- Develop and execute multi-year account strategies aligned to client business objectives and workplace priorities.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to client leadership teams, helping evaluate and optimize facilities management operating models.
- Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Client’s business and key factors influencing IFM function requirements, aligning with the Leadership Principles of Amazon.
- Manage relationships with all the key stakeholders and function leads (both client and JLL) for efficient delivery of IFM services. Lead larger discussions with India RPM for portfolio growth / strategy / RE acquisition.
- Establish a robust business governance process including conducting regular business reviews (BRs) with client leadership for IFM function.
- Assess and recommend alternative service delivery approaches, sourcing strategies, and governance structures based on business requirements, risk profiles, and financial objectives.
- Present data-driven recommendations and business cases to executive stakeholders, including CFOs, COOs, Procurement Leaders, and Real Estate Executives.
- Lead strategic discussions around cost optimization, service effectiveness, workplace experience, operational resilience, and future-state operating models.
- Lead executive business reviews and governance forums. Influence decision-making through credibility, subject matter expertise, commercial acumen, and strategic insight.
- Anticipate client needs and proactively identify opportunities to enhance value creation.
- Establish robust governance frameworks to drive accountability across service providers, partners, and internal teams.
- Define and monitor KPIs, SLAs, operational scorecards, performance metrics, and continuous improvement programs.
- Ensure consistent delivery of service excellence, compliance, safety, and operational standards.
- Own financial performance, forecasting, and budget management. Identify opportunities for revenue growth, scope expansion, and value-added services.
Education and experience
- Master’s in Business Management with a minimum of 15 years of experience in a corporate environment with proven ability to function effectively as a business leader.
- Exposure and experience in dealing with multinational corporate organizations. Experience of managing business P&L is desirable.
- Ability to collaborate strongly across multiple stakeholders. Possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships.
- Experience managing executive-level client relationships and influencing C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, operating models, vendor strategies, and performance management programs.
- Strong Analytical skills. Proven ability to solve problems using an objective approach.
