Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Executive with 2–5 years of experience in CCTV, video surveillance and security systems. The candidate will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, preparing technical solutions, BOQs, quotations and proposals, and supporting the sales team in closing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable CCTV and surveillance solutions.
- Prepare BOQ/BOM, technical proposals, quotations and solution documents.
- Select appropriate CCTV cameras, NVR/DVR, storage, switches, PoE devices and accessories.
- Prepare CCTV system architecture, layouts and basic network diagrams.
- Study tender documents, specifications and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with sales, project and technical teams for solution preparation.
- Coordinate with OEMs/vendors for product specifications, pricing and technical information.
- Conduct customer presentations and technical discussions.
- Support the sales team during client meetings, site visits and technical negotiations.
- Provide technical clarification and product demonstrations when required.
- Prepare compliance statements, comparison sheets and technical submittals.
- Follow up on proposals and support the sales team until order closure.
- Maintain product knowledge and stay updated on new CCTV and surveillance technologies.
Required Skills
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in CCTV / Security & Surveillance / ELV Pre-Sales.
- Good knowledge of IP CCTV, Analog CCTV, NVR, DVR, VMS and video surveillance systems.
- Understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, PoE, switches, bandwidth and storage calculation.
- Experience in BOQ, BOM, estimation and technical proposal preparation.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- AutoCAD knowledge will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and provide suitable solutions.
Qualification
Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / Any relevant technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical, IT, Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in CCTV, IP Surveillance, ELV, Access Control, Video Door Phones, Networking or Security Systems will be preferred.
