Enrolled Agent (EA) – US Accounts & Tax
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent (EA) to join our US Accounting & Tax team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing US tax returns, providing tax planning and advisory support, representing clients before the IRS where required, and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. The role also includes bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and collaboration with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality accounting and tax services.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review US individual, business, partnership, S-corporation, corporation, trust, and nonprofit tax returns.
- Ensure timely and accurate federal, state, and local tax compliance.
- Represent clients before the IRS for audits, notices, and tax resolution matters, as authorized by EA credentials.
- Conduct tax research and provide practical recommendations on tax-saving opportunities and compliance issues.
- Prepare tax projections and assist clients with tax planning strategies.
- Review bookkeeping records and maintain accurate financial data.
- Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required financial and tax documents.
- Stay updated on changes in US tax laws, IRS regulations, and accounting standards.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Collaborate with internal accounting and tax teams to ensure timely delivery of client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Active IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) certification.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience in US taxation and accounting.
- Strong knowledge of US federal and state tax laws.
- Experience preparing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041, and other related tax filings.
- Proficiency in US tax software such as Drake, UltraTax, ProConnect, Lacerte, CCH Axcess, or similar.
- Working knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks Online/Xero.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with US CPA firms or accounting firms.
- Knowledge of payroll taxes and sales tax compliance.
- Familiarity with tax resolution and IRS correspondence.
- Experience mentoring junior tax professionals.

Pay: Up to ₹1,200,000.00 per year
