Job Description – Plant Supervisor
Position: Plant Supervisor
Department: Production
Reporting To: Plant Manager / Production Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production of EPS and packaging products.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Monitor pre-expander, aging, moulding, and packing operations.
- Supervise operation of mold changes.
- Allocate work and monitor performance of operators and helpers.
- Monitor Attendance, discipline and productivity of Workers.
- Reduce rejections and material wastages.
- Reduce & reporting of breakdowns.
- Coordinate with the maintenance team for machine repairs and preventive maintenance
- Monitor & recording of Raw Material consumption, productions output and scrap generation.
- Control wastage & proper handling of finished goods
- Maintain good Housekeeping in the production area
- Monitor Fire Safety equipment and emergency procedures.
- Maintain production records and reports.
- Prepare daily production reports.
- Report production status, machine breakdowns, and operational issues to management.
Qualifications
- Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech or related field.
- Experience in EPS, Thermocol Manufacturing, or Plastic Processing preferred.
Skills Required
- Production planning and supervision.
- Manpower management.
- Machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Safety compliance and implementation.
- Basic computer knowledge.
Pay: ₹21,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
