Role description
Responsibilities:
- Administer and support the Qualys VMDR platform.
- Configure, schedule, and manage vulnerability scans.
- Manage Qualys Cloud Agents, asset groups, and asset tagging.
- Perform user administration, RBAC, and platform configuration.
- Generate vulnerability, compliance, and executive reports.
- Work with infrastructure and security teams to drive vulnerability remediation.
- Monitor scan performance and troubleshoot scan-related issues.
- Support integrations with ServiceNow, SIEM tools, and other security platforms.
Required Skills:
- 4+ years of experience with Qualys VMDR.
- Strong knowledge of Vulnerability Management and Security Operations.
- Experience with Cloud Agents, Asset Tagging, and RBAC.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports.
- Understanding of CVSS scoring and vulnerability remediation processes.
- Experience with Qualys API and integrations is preferred.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills:
- ServiceNow integration.
- SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel).
- Cloud security exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Compliance and audit reporting experience.
