Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer / Construction Supervisor with hands-on experience in Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) works. The candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities, ensuring quality construction, coordinating with contractors, and completing projects safely within the scheduled timeline.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise day-to-day RCC construction activities at the project site.
· Monitor reinforcement (steel), shuttering/formwork, concreting, curing, and finishing works.
· Ensure execution of work according to approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
· Check bar bending schedules (BBS), reinforcement placement, and shuttering before concrete pouring.
· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project managers.
· Conduct site measurements and maintain daily progress reports.
· Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
· Inspect completed work and resolve construction issues promptly.
· Plan manpower, machinery, and materials for daily site activities.
· Maintain site documentation, inspection records, and work progress reports.
· Coordinate with QA/QC teams for quality inspections and testing.
· Ensure timely completion of assigned construction activities.
Required Skills
· Strong knowledge of RCC construction, reinforcement detailing, shuttering, and concreting.
· Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
· Knowledge of construction quality standards and safety practices.
· Experience in site supervision and contractor management.
· Good communication and team coordination skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project reporting.
· Knowledge of estimation and quantity surveying is an added advantage.
Preferred Experience
· Residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
· Hands-on experience in foundations, columns, beams, slabs, retaining walls, and other RCC structures.
Qualification
· Diploma in Civil Engineering / B.E. Civil / B.Tech Civil.
· Experience: 2–8 years in RCC construction/site supervision.
