Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Web Author with 4–8 years of experience in web content authoring and digital content management. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with CMS platforms such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), WordPress, Sitecore, or Drupal, along with strong knowledge of HTML/CSS, SEO, accessibility, and digital content best practices.
The candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, formatting, and publishing web content while ensuring accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, edit, format, and publish web content using enterprise CMS platforms.
- Work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms.
- Format and structure web pages using templates, components, and predefined layout guidelines.
- Ensure content accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand tone and style.
- Optimize web content for SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and performance.
- Manage and maintain digital assets including images, videos, and documents.
- Perform content updates, quality checks, and regression testing before publishing.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Follow content governance, workflow, and approval processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot content-related issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution.
- Collaborate with designers, UX teams, developers, marketing teams, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain content documentation and version control.
- Manage multiple content requests and deliver updates within agreed timelines.
- Support continuous improvement of website content and user experience.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and team activities.
Required Skills
- 4–8 years of experience in web content authoring or digital content management.
- Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, preferably Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience with WordPress, Sitecore, Drupal, or similar CMS platforms is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices.
- Understanding of web accessibility and WCAG standards.
- Good understanding of UX/UI principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital asset management.
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
- Basic image editing skills using Adobe Photoshop or similar tools.
- Understanding of content governance, publishing workflows, and approval processes.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
