Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced X-Ray Technician to join our newly established micro hospital in Kollam. The candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiography procedures, maintaining imaging equipment, and ensuring patient safety during radiological examinations.
The technician will work closely with doctors and clinical staff to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by doctors
- Prepare patients for radiology examinations and ensure proper positioning
- Operate and maintain X-ray equipment safely
- Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols
- Maintain accurate imaging records and reports
- Coordinate with doctors for diagnostic requirements
- Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the radiology department
- Assist in basic equipment troubleshooting and maintenance coordination
Qualification
Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years experience preferred in hospital or diagnostic center
Skills
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment
- Understanding of radiation safety standards
- Good communication and patient handling skills
- Basic computer knowledge for imaging records
