Store Officer is responsible for managing and controlling materials, equipment, and inventory at construction sites. This role ensures timely availability of resources, proper documentation, and compliance with company policies to support smooth execution of railway and road projects.
Location: Muri, Hazaribagh, Simaria, Nichitpur, Garhwa, Ghatsila, Cuttack, Rayagada
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate records of materials received, issued, and stored at the site.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent damage or loss.
Procurement & Coordination
- Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for timely delivery of materials.
- Verify quality and quantity of materials received against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Liaise with suppliers and transporters for smooth supply chain operations.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain records of material consumption and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company policies.
Site Support
- Issue materials to engineers, supervisors, and contractors as per project requirements.
- Monitor usage of materials to avoid overstocking or shortages.
- Assist in planning material requirements based on project schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in store management, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with railway and road construction materials and equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and store management tools.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
