Diagnovolt Ltd. is looking for a talented PCB Designer / Hardware Design Engineer to support the development of advanced electronic hardware products. The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in schematic design, multilayer PCB layout, RF circuits, analog design, FPGA-based hardware, STM32 microcontrollers, and high-speed ADC interfaces up to 3 GS/s.
Key Responsibilities
- Design schematics for RF, analog, digital, and mixed-signal electronic circuits.
- Develop multilayer PCB layouts for high-speed and low-noise applications.
- Work on FPGA-based hardware designs, especially using Xilinx Zynq-7000 devices.
- Design hardware around STM32 microcontrollers and related peripherals.
- Implement high-speed ADC interfaces, including ADCs up to 3 GS/s.
- Design RF front-end circuits, filters, amplifiers, protection circuits, and impedance-controlled layouts.
- Apply good PCB practices for grounding, shielding, power distribution, EMI/EMC, and signal integrity.
- Prepare complete design documentation including schematics, PCB layout files, Gerbers, BOM, assembly drawings, and manufacturing notes.
- Support prototype bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
- Coordinate with firmware, mechanical, and product development teams.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in professional PCB design and schematic development.
- Good understanding of RF PCB layout, impedance matching, controlled-impedance routing, grounding, and shielding.
- Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuit design.
- Experience with FPGA hardware design, preferably using Zynq-7000 devices.
- Experience with STM32 microcontroller-based hardware.
- Knowledge of high-speed ADC layout and interface requirements.
- Ability to design multilayer PCBs with proper power architecture, signal integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, OrCAD, Cadence, or similar.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF designs up to the GHz range.
- Experience with low-noise analog front-end circuits.
- Knowledge of high-speed digital interfaces such as LVDS, JESD204, DDR, SPI, I²C, UART, Ethernet, and USB.
- Ability to review datasheets, application notes, and reference designs, and convert concepts into production-ready hardware.
- Experience in prototype testing, board bring-up, debugging, and validation.
