Role Objective
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the design and development of industrial automation systems and machinery. The role involves creating 3D models, detailed drawings, and assisting in the execution of projects from concept to manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks / SolidEdge / AutoCAD
- Assist in conceptual design based on project requirements
- Prepare manufacturing drawings and basic assembly drawings
- Support GD&T application and dimensional detailing
- Work on basic pneumatic system layouts and component selection
- Coordinate with fabrication and assembly teams
- Assist in design modifications based on shop-floor feedback
- Maintain proper design documentation
Technical Skills
- Basic knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks / SolidEdge / AutoCAD)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, sheet metal)
- Familiarity with mechanical components and materials
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics (cylinders, valves, FRL – preferred)
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 0–2 years experience (freshers with strong CAD skills can apply)
