Role Description
The best writing does more than communicate. It creates clarity. It changes perception. It helps people make better decisions about what matters most. At Amura, words are not supporting elements added after strategy and design. They are often where understanding begins. Every campaign, consultation, product experience, and patient journey relies on communication that is thoughtful, precise, and deeply human.
We are looking for a Copy Lead who can shape how Amura thinks, sounds, and communicates across every touchpoint. This role is for someone who is equally comfortable developing high-level narrative strategy, crafting compelling copy, mentoring writers, and maintaining exceptional standards of quality across everything we publish. Someone who understands that great copy is not about cleverness alone, but about helping people understand complex ideas, trust what they are reading, and take meaningful action.
You will work closely with strategists, designers, marketers, health experts, video creators, and leadership teams to shape how millions of people experience Amura every day.
Key Responsibilities
1. Narrative Strategy & Brand Voice
- Define and evolve Amura's voice across channels, campaigns, and customer experiences.
- Develop messaging frameworks that simplify complex healthcare and human performance concepts.
- Ensure consistency of tone, clarity, and positioning across all communication.
- Help shape how the brand communicates both today and as it scales in the future.
2. Creative Writing & Storytelling
- Create compelling copy across digital, social, product, marketing, and offline touchpoints.
- Transform insights, research, and strategy into engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Contribute original ideas and creative thinking to campaigns, launches, and brand initiatives.
- Craft communication that balances emotional resonance with intellectual rigor.
3. Content Leadership & Quality Control
- Lead content development efforts across multiple projects and workstreams.
- Review, edit, and elevate content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, and impact.
- Maintain high editorial standards across all published communication.
- Establish processes, guidelines, and quality benchmarks that improve creative output at scale.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with designers, strategists, marketers, video creators, and subject matter experts.
- Collaborate throughout the creative process from brief development through final execution.
- Help teams align messaging with broader business and brand objectives.
- Contribute to creative reviews and continuously raise the quality of communication across the organisation.
5. Team Development & Content Operations
- Mentor and guide writers while fostering a culture of curiosity, ownership, and excellence.
- Manage content calendars, priorities, and deadlines across multiple initiatives.
- Balance strategic thinking with executional excellence in a fast-moving environment.
- Support the evolution of content systems that enable consistency without sacrificing creativity.
What We're Looking For
- 5-8 years of experience in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, storytelling ability, and exceptional writing craft.
- Experience developing brand narratives and communication strategies across channels.
- Proven ability to write across formats, audiences, and stages of the customer journey.
- Exceptional editing, proofreading, and quality control skills.
- Experience leading content initiatives and mentoring creative talent.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance creativity, business objectives, and executional excellence.
- Experience in healthcare, wellness, consumer brands, or other high-trust industries is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
