The Candidates roles and responsibilities would be :
- Conduct title searches to verify ownership history.
- Issue legal opinions on land marketability and acquisition risks.
- Draft binding agreements including sale deeds, leases, and joint development contracts
- Manage property registration processes at sub-registrar offices.
- Represent the firm in property disputes before civil courts and tribunals.
- Update revenue records including Patta, Khata, or mutation transfers.
- Advise internal teams on changing local land laws and zoning regulations.
- Represent clients in arbitration proceedings to resolve real estate disputes outside of court.
- Handle RERA litigation by filing complaints, responses, and appeals before RERA authorities.
- File legal documentation systematically with courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies.
- Liaise with revenue departments for land mutation, patta transfers, and boundary verifications.
- Register cooperative societies and manage housing society formation compliance.
- Form and register partnerships including drafting partnership deeds and filing with the Registrar of Firms.
- Verify original documents on-site to detect forgery and confirm title authenticity.
- Draft corporate agreements such as Joint Venture, Shareholder, and Non-Disclosure Agreements, Franchise agreements, Investors agreements, loan agreements etc.,
Requirements would be :
- Minimum 2 years of practise experience as an advocate
- Familiarity with legal documents and terminology
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Able to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines
- Able to work as a team with attorneys and other colleagues
- Demonstrate a courteous and professional demeanor
- Superior written and oral communication skills
