Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned academic block.
- Ensure classrooms, laboratories, offices, corridors, and common areas are clean and well maintained.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping team to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- Monitor the functioning of electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, and other infrastructure facilities.
- Report maintenance issues promptly and follow up until completion.
- Coordinate with the maintenance department for repair and preventive maintenance work.
- Ensure adequate availability of classroom furniture, teaching aids, and other essential facilities.
- Supervise support staff assigned to the block and monitor their attendance and performance.
- Coordinate with the security team to maintain discipline and safety within the block.
- Ensure classrooms are opened and locked as per the academic schedule.
- Monitor the proper use of university property and prevent misuse or damage.
- Assist in the smooth conduct of examinations, seminars, workshops, conferences, and other academic events.
- Maintain records of maintenance requests, inspections, and asset movements.
- Conduct regular inspections and submit reports on the condition of the building and facilities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate with the concerned departments.
- Address faculty and student facility-related concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Management or Administrative Officer.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Diploma or certification in Facility Management or Administration is preferred.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in administration, facility management, building supervision, or a similar role.
- Experience in educational institutions is preferred.

Working Conditions
