Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined components, fabricated parts, and assembled machines.
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, GD&T, and specifications to verify dimensional and quality requirements.
- Conduct dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Dial Indicators, and Thread Gauges.
- Identify quality issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, First Article Inspection (FAI) reports, Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), rejection reports, and rework records.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and company procedures throughout the manufacturing process.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement, and Assembly teams to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
- Evaluate supplier quality through incoming material inspections, supplier audits, and vendor performance monitoring.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure all measuring instruments are calibrated and traceable.
- Support internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and other applicable quality standards.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key RequirementsEducation
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in Quality Control within Special Purpose Machines (SPM), Machine Building, Precision Manufacturing, or Industrial Automation.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
