Quality Inspector – Manufacturing / Automotive
We are looking for a quality inspector to monitor production quality and ensure compliance with inspection standards in the manufacturing process. The role involves conducting setup approvals, inspection activities, rejection analysis, and supporting quality improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct set-up approvals, in-process inspections, and patrolling inspections on the shop floor
- Review and maintain inspection and setup reports
- Perform daily scrap review and analysis
- Create awareness among the shop-floor team regarding internal rejection. PPM
- Support initiatives to reduce COPQ by eliminating non-value-adding activities
- Verify corrective actions for internal rejections and customer complaints
- Assist in SPC, MSA, layout inspection, and product/process audits
- Support PPAP documentation and quality activities
Qualifications
Diploma / BE in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering
Experience
1–3 years of experience in manufacturing or automotive quality inspection.
Additional Skills
- Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection methods
- Good communication and supervisory coordination skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, email, and Internet)
- Energetic, multitasking, and result-oriented approach
