We are looking for a skilled HVAC Maintenance Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will ensure uninterrupted operation of HVAC equipment to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests, patients, visitors, and staff while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioners, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, ventilation units, and refrigeration equipment.
- Monitor HVAC system performance and optimize efficiency.
- Attend breakdown calls and resolve issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Check refrigerant levels, compressors, motors, filters, belts, thermostats, and electrical components.
- Maintain cooling towers, pumps, exhaust and fresh air systems.
- Record daily maintenance activities and equipment performance in maintenance logs.
- Coordinate with vendors for major repairs and AMC services when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Support engineering and facility maintenance activities as assigned.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts in good condition.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a priority basis.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration principles.
- Hands-on experience with chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and split/package AC units.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures.
- Basic understanding of electrical troubleshooting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and emergency situations.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in hotels, hospitals, resorts, malls, or commercial buildings.
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) is preferred.
