Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in Precast Concrete Manufacturing, RCC Products, Infrastructure Products, or related Civil Manufacturing Industry Experience in handling production planning, casting operations, manpower management, and quality control within a precast plant Must have hands-on exposure to precast products such as U Drains, Box Culverts, Flumes, Retaining Walls, Compound Walls, or similar RCC precast elements Salary Range: 70k to 1.25 lacs
Job purpose:
To ensure smooth and uninterrupted precast production operations by planning, supervising, and controlling all casting, material coordination, mould maintenance, and equipment readiness while achieving productivity, quality, and safety targets.
Roles:
Start production activities by assigning daily casting targets and shift-wise planning. Verify product dimensions and quality at each stage; provide instructions to operators and supervisors for corrections. Collect mixer machine and batching plant status reports from operators and take action if abnormality is found. Monitor plant breakdowns and resolve minor maintenance issues with the help of operators or internal resources. Ensure daily machine inspection is carried out and reported. Coordinate with rebar engineers for steel requirement planning; arrange material as per schedule. Confirm raw material (RM) stock and inform the purchase team when reorder levels are reached. Raise material requests to store as per production requirement. Ensure night production is properly recorded and stored items are arranged and stacked to avoid uneven stock. Verify and sign off daily production sheets. QC team for support and approval wherever required. Allocate and monitor colour application work on new moulds. Check and ensure raw material pipe cleaning and removal of any blockage. Ensure periodic servicing of loader, mini tractor, forklift, and related handling equipment. Coordinate with engineers to resolve production issues on a real-time basis. Get mould welding and maintenance done through internal welders or external support. Arrange additional welders or helpers as per workload. Coordinate with rebar machine maintenance agency in case of equipment breakdown.
Approve production scheduling and manpower allocation across shifts. Reject defective or non-conforming output and instruct rework. Coordinate with QC for urgent or special inspection approvals. Approve raw material withdrawal from store as per production plan. Escalate recurring machinery breakdowns or material shortages to management. Approve temporary manpower or welding support requirement for special work. Qualification:
B.E. Civil (Mandatory) Additional certification/training in Production Planning, Manufacturing Operations, or Precast Technology will be preferred
