NewSpace Research & Technologies (NRT), founded in 2017, is a global leader in swarming technologies, autonomous robotics, and advanced aerospace systems for defense applications. With a workforce of over 600 professionals across 12 facilities worldwide—nearly 70% focused on research and development—NRT has designed and fielded more than 15 proprietary multirotor and fixed-wing platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute system and software validation activities as per defined test procedures
- Perform pre-checks, setup, and post-update verification on systems
- Carry out bench testing and functional checks to confirm expected performance
- Identify, document, and report defects, issues, or deviations observed during testing
- Follow QA processes, checklists, SOPs, and technical documentation carefully
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams for issue resolution and re-validation
- Maintain clear records of testing status, observations, and outcome
Preferred Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related engineering
disciplines
- 0–3 years of experience in QA, testing, validation, technical support, or related roles
Required Skills:
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environment
- Basic understanding of system testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Ability to follow test procedures and engineering documentation in a disciplined manner
- Attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Good communication and coordination skills
Good to Have:
- Experience with embedded systems, hardware-software integration, or electronics
testing
- Exposure to structured testing, defect reporting, and validation workflows
- Experience in drones, robotics, or similar systems will be an added advantage
