Job Title: Audio & Mobile Repair Technician
Role Overview
Responsible for diagnosis and repair of portable audio devices, speakers, and basic mobile hardware issues at component level. Focus on efficient fault identification, high-quality repairs, and turnaround time.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair premium speakers (including brands like Marshall and similar)
- Perform battery replacement and repair for speakers and portable devices
- Troubleshoot and repair amplifier circuits at component level (ICs, capacitors, resistors, power sections)
- Identify faults in PCBs and carry out micro-level soldering/rework
- Test devices post-repair for performance, sound quality, and reliability
- Maintain repair logs with job details, parts used, and status
- Coordinate with inventory for spare parts and components
- Ensure proper handling of customer products and ESD-safe practices
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of basic electronics and circuit diagnosis
- Experience with soldering, desoldering, and SMD component work
- Ability to read basic circuit diagrams and trace faults
- Knowledge of amplifier sections, power supply circuits, and battery systems
- Familiarity with tools: multimeter, soldering station, hot air gun
- Experience in speaker/audio equipment repair preferred over generic mobile repair
Experience
- 1–4 years in mobile/audio repair or electronics servicing
- Hands-on experience in component-level repair (not just part replacement)

- Accurate fault diagnosis with minimal trial-and-error
- Reduced turnaround time per repair
