Who we are
NAVDHAARA (नवधारा) is a Mumbai-based premium Indo-western fashion brand for women, inspired by the nine forms of Maa Durga. We make handcrafted co-ord sets, kurta sets, and fusion dresses for the modern Indian woman. We are growing fast and building our content presence from the ground up.
The role
We are looking for a UGC Content Creator who can make content that feels real — not polished, not scripted, not like an ad. Someone who picks up a NAVDHAARA piece, wears it, and creates video content that makes other women stop scrolling and think I want that.
No studio needed. No big following needed. Just a good phone, a genuine love for Indian fashion, and the ability to show up authentically on camera.
What you will do
- Receive NAVDHAARA pieces (shipped to you) and create short-form video content — Reels, unboxings, try-ons, GRWM, styling videos, transitions
- Deliver 12–17 content pieces per month based on agreed scope
- Film in vertical 9:16 format for Instagram Reels and Stories
- Write natural captions — your voice, not corporate copy
- Follow a loose creative brief but bring your own ideas and personality
- Tag @navdhaara and follow basic brand guidelines
Skills you need
On camera
- Natural, comfortable on camera — not stiff, not over-performed
- Strong hook instinct — you know how to grab attention in the first 3 seconds
- Genuine personality that comes through on video
Content creation
- Short-form video creation for Instagram Reels and Stories
- Basic mobile editing — CapCut, InShot, or equivalent
- Good eye for framing, lighting, and composition on a phone
- Knowledge of trending audio, transitions, and formats that perform
Fashion sense
- Genuine feel for Indo-western and ethnic fashion
- Can talk about fabric, fit, drape, and styling naturally — not from a script
- Understands what photographs and films well
Communication
- Reliable — meets deadlines, responds within 24 hours
- Can follow a brief and flag questions early
- Organised — manages own shoot schedule without hand-holding
What you do NOT need
- A large following — your content lives on our handle, not yours
- A professional camera or studio
- Expensive editing software
- A media or fashion degree
