Job Title: Driver (HVL – Heavy Vehicle)
Role Overview
The Driver (HVL) will be responsible for safe and timely transportation of goods and materials. The role involves operating heavy vehicles, ensuring proper vehicle maintenance, and supporting logistics operations while following all safety and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive heavy vehicles for transportation of goods safely and on time
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and basic upkeep
- Conduct routine checks (fuel, oil, tyres, etc.)
- Report any vehicle issues or breakdowns immediately
- Follow traffic rules and company safety policies
- Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams
Candidate Profile
- Valid Heavy Vehicle License (HVL)
- Good knowledge of routes and road safety regulations
- Responsible, disciplined, and punctual
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
- Good communication and coordination skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 10th pass & 12th pass preferred
