Role Overview
We are looking for a highly accomplished Software Engineer with deep hands-on expertise
and system design mastery to drive the architecture, scalability, and execution of our
end-to-end platform.
In this role, you will be the technical backbone of our engineering efforts—solving complex
software challenges, designing resilient systems, and delivering business-aligned solutions.
While this is primarily an individual contributor role requiring heavy hands-on coding, we are
seeking a candidate with natural technical leadership qualities who can mentor team
members, establish engineering SOPs, and step up to act as a Lead Engineer as our team
grows.
Key Responsibilities
Architecture & System Design
● Technical Design & Documentation: Draft technical design documents, maintain
architecture decision matrices, and continuously update the end-to-end platform
architecture map.
● High Availability & Resilience: Design robust failure and recovery mechanisms to
ensure platform stability, fault tolerance, and zero downtime.
● Observability: Architect and implement multi-layered observability across
applications, databases, infrastructure, and third-party integrations.
Hands-On Execution & AI Integration
● Full-Stack Development: Write clean, maintainable, high-performance code across
the entire stack using modern frameworks and microservice architecture.
● Practical AI Engineering: Integrate AI capabilities, LLMs, and intelligent workflows
into core business applications rather than building isolated GenAI experiments.
● Product & Engineering Bridge: Collaborate with product managers to evaluate
feature feasibility, refine user flows, and translate functional requirements into
scalable technical implementations.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
● Growth & Mentorship: Act as a technical anchor for the team—conducting thorough
code reviews, pair programming, and mentoring junior/mid-level engineers.
● Leadership Trajectory: Serve as the primary technical voice on projects, balancing
technical debt with rapid execution, and stepping into lead engineer duties when
coordinating cross-functional technical initiatives.
● Executive & Stakeholder Alignment: Help communicate trade-offs, timelines, risks,
technical constraints, and dependencies to business and product stakeholders in
clear, non-technical language.Quality, DevOps & Operations
● Best Practices & SOPs: Define and enforce engineering, coding, testing, and
documentation best practices across the team.
● CI/CD & Infrastructure: Design and maintain continuous integration and
build/deployment pipelines. Work with cloud infrastructure (AWS) to optimize system
performance and manage resource utilization.
● Production Ownership & FinOps: Own production issue resolution, maintain
release stability, uphold strict SLAs, and collaborate on operational frameworks such
as FinOps (including monitoring AI runtime/cloud infrastructure costs).
Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
● Experience: 6 to 8+ years of core software engineering experience, with a proven
track record of designing, building, and running production systems at scale.
● Full-Stack Mastery: Exceptional proficiency in Node.js, Python, Next.js,
MongoDB, RESTful Services, microservices, and API design/integration.
● Cloud & DevOps: Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services,
containerization, and automated CI/CD build pipelines.
● AI Ecosystem: Solid understanding of AI engineering principles, specifically
integrating LLMs and AI services into end-to-end software applications.
● Security & Privacy: Deep understanding of data privacy rules, application security
best practices, and secure coding standards.
● Leadership Potential: Demonstrated capability or strong desire to lead technical
initiatives, drive architecture strategy, and step into a Lead Engineer role.
