Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and detail-oriented Pharmacist to manage hospital pharmacy operations, ensure safe dispensing of medicines, maintain inventory, and support high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, interactions, and appropriateness.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, stock levels, and expiry management.
- Procure medicines from approved vendors and ensure timely availability.
- Maintain records of narcotic, high-risk, and controlled medications as per regulations.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and possible side effects.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for medication management.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Act, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain billing, documentation, and pharmacy reports.
- Participate in audits, quality initiatives, and infection control practices.
Qualification
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Valid State Pharmacy Council Registration (Mandatory)
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Freshers with valid registration may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of medicines and pharmacology.
- Inventory and stock management.
- Good communication and patient counseling skills.
- Attention to detail and ethical practice.
- Basic computer and pharmacy software knowledge.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
