Shopify DeveloperAbout the Role
We are looking for a Shopify Developer who is excited to build, optimize, and maintain our Shopify store. Whether you're a fresher with strong fundamentals or someone with up to 2 years of experience, this role offers an opportunity to work on a high-traffic D2C website and learn from cross-functional teams including Product, Growth, Design, and Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the SuperBottoms Shopify website.
- Build new landing pages, product pages, collection pages, and custom Shopify sections.
- Customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
- Ensure responsive and mobile-first website performance.
- Improve website speed, user experience, and conversion rates.
- Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs whenever required.
- Work closely with the Growth and Design teams to launch campaigns, promotions, and new product collections.
- Troubleshoot website issues and resolve bugs with quick turnaround time.
- Perform website testing before every major release.
- Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code.
- Stay updated with Shopify platform enhancements and recommend improvements.
What We're Looking ForMust Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web development.
- Basic knowledge of Shopify platform and Shopify Admin.
- Familiarity with Shopify Liquid templating language (academic projects or internships are acceptable).
- Understanding of Git/GitHub or version control systems.
- Strong logical thinking and debugging skills.
- Eagerness to learn and solve problems.
Good to Have
- Experience with Shopify theme customization.
- Knowledge of Shopify APIs and app integrations.
- Understanding of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or Meta Pixel.
- Exposure to CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization).
- Basic understanding of React or modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Shopify CLI or Shopify theme development tools.
