Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to identify potential clients, generate qualified leads, conduct discovery calls, and help businesses understand how Accounting Genie can support their invoicing and receivables management processes.
The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build relationships with founders, finance teams, and business owners.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and connect with startups, SMEs, agencies, and service-based businesses.
- Generate leads through outbound calls, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, networking, and referrals.
- Schedule meetings and discovery calls with prospective clients.
- Understand client pain points related to invoicing, collections, and receivables management.
- Present Accounting Genie’s services and value proposition.
- Maintain and update lead records in CRM.
- Follow up with prospects and nurture relationships.
- Prepare proposals and coordinate with internal teams during onboarding.
- Achieve monthly lead generation and sales targets.
- Stay updated on market trends and competitor activities.
Required Skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Confidence in cold calling and client interactions.
- Ability to understand business operations and client requirements.
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools, Google Workspace, and MS Office.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and proactive.
Qualifications
- Graduate in B.Com, BBA, MBA, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may apply.
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, B2B sales, or client acquisition will be preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹35,000 per month (Based on experience)
