RD Bytes is a growing web designing and digital solutions company looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor who can deliver high-quality videos quickly and effectively. The ideal candidate should have strong creative thinking, excellent editing skills, and the ability to complete video deliverables within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging and high-quality videos for social media, digital marketing campaigns, websites, advertisements, and client projects.
- Create Reels, promotional videos, advertisements, corporate videos, YouTube content, and short-form videos.
- Develop creative video concepts and bring ideas to life through effective editing.
- Deliver videos with quick turnaround time without compromising quality.
- Add transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, sound effects, background music, color correction, and other visual effects.
- Create videos according to brand guidelines, content requirements, and campaign objectives.
- Work closely with the Content, Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, and Project Coordination teams.
- Handle multiple video projects simultaneously and prioritize deliverables based on deadlines.
- Understand current social media video trends and create content that is engaging and platform-friendly.
- Use AI-powered video editing and generation tools to improve creativity, efficiency, and output.
- Take ownership of assigned projects from editing to final delivery.
- Maintain consistency in quality, formatting, branding, and deadlines.
Required Skills
- 2–3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Good understanding of motion graphics, transitions, sound design, color correction, and video storytelling.
- Strong creative sense with the ability to make videos visually engaging.
- Ability to understand requirements quickly and deliver videos within short timelines.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
- Knowledge of social media formats such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, YouTube videos, and promotional ads.
- Familiarity with AI video creation/editing tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Veo, CapCut AI, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory.
Preferred Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film Making, or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience and a strong portfolio will be given more importance than qualification alone.
