We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Architect to design, plan, and supervise residential, commercial, and mixed-use building projects. The candidate should have sound knowledge of architectural design, construction drawings, building materials, and local building regulations. The role requires close coordination with clients, consultants, and site engineers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D views.
- Prepare working drawings and construction documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil engineering teams.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with drawings.
- Ensure designs comply with local building by-laws and statutory regulations.
- Prepare BOQs and material specifications where required.
- Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
- Review contractor drawings and resolve technical issues during execution.
- Maintain project documentation and reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Registration with the Council of Architecture (COA) is preferred.
- 2–5 years of experience in architectural design and execution.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or BIM software.
- Experience with 3D rendering tools such as Lumion, V-Ray, or Enscape is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong understanding of building construction methods and materials.
- Familiarity with the National Building Code (NBC) and local building regulations.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management abilities.
