Position Summary
We are seeking a professional, high-energy Bar Server to deliver exceptional hospitality in our hotel . The Bar Server acts as the primary host for guests in our beverage outlets, pairing extensive knowledge of spirits and signature cocktails with seamless dining service.
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Service: Greet guests promptly, offer recommendations, take food and beverage orders accurately, and anticipate guest needs throughout their visit.
- Beverage Delivery: Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to hotel presentation standards and local liquor laws (checking legal age requirements).
- Upselling & Knowledge: Maintain expert-level knowledge of the bar menu, food pairings, seasonal specials, and luxury spirits to actively up-sell items.
- POS & Cash Handling: Process payments via POS systems accurately, post charges to hotel guest rooms, and handle cash transactions in compliance with hotel financial controls.
- Station Maintenance: Keep table service areas, tray prep areas, and server stations impeccably clean, stocked, and organized.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of hotel bar/restaurant serving experience preferred.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of classic cocktails and spirit categories.
- Skills: Good communication, multitasking, active listening, and basic math skills for order processing.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
