Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced, research-oriented, and innovative Senior Curriculum Designer – Kannada Language Programs to lead the design, development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of comprehensive Kannada curriculum for both School Education (Grade 1–12) and Kannada Language Learning Programs.
The successful candidate will play a strategic role in developing LanguageVeda’s proprietary Kannada curriculum, learning methodology, assessment framework, teacher resources, and academic standards. This role is ideal for an academic leader who is passionate about Kannada language, literature, culture, and learner-centred curriculum design.
Key Responsibilities
School Curriculum Design
Lead the design and development of Kannada curriculum for Grade 1–12 across:
ICSE
CBSE
Karnataka State Board
Other State Boards (where applicable)
Develop curriculum for:
First Language Kannada
Second Language Kannada
Third Language Kannada (where applicable)
Design and develop:
Curriculum Frameworks
Scope & Sequence
Learning Outcomes
Competency Mapping
Annual Academic Plans
Unit Plans
Lesson Plans
Teacher Manuals
Student Learning Resources
Grammar Progression
Vocabulary Development
Reading & Writing Frameworks
Classroom Activities
Assessment Frameworks
Experience
7–10 years of progressive experience in:
Kannada Curriculum Development
Kannada Language Education
Academic Leadership o Instructional Design
Educational Content Development
Experience designing Kannada curriculum for Grade 1–12.
Strong understanding of ICSE, CBSE, Karnataka State Board, and other school curriculum frameworks.
Proven experience designing Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Kannada Language Learning Programs.
