We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Associate Professor – Nursing to strengthen our academic faculty and contribute to the growth of our nursing programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate nursing courses through classroom, laboratory, simulation, and clinical teaching.
- Lead curriculum planning, academic innovation, and implementation of outcome-based education.
- Supervise clinical training, internships, and community health postings.
- Mentor faculty members and provide academic guidance to students.
- Guide student research projects, dissertations, seminars, and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Conduct internal assessments, practical examinations, and evaluate student performance.
- Promote and undertake research, publications, and funded academic projects.
- Ensure compliance with the norms and regulations of the Indian Nursing Council (INC), Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC), and the affiliated university.
- Participate in accreditation, quality assurance, institutional development, and statutory committee activities.
- Coordinate departmental planning, faculty development programmes, and academic administration.
- Build collaborations with hospitals and healthcare institutions to strengthen clinical education.
Eligibility Criteria
- M.Sc. Nursing in a recognized nursing specialty from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 8 years of teaching experience, including experience as an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in a recognized College of Nursing, as per applicable regulatory norms.
- Valid registration with the Bihar Nurses Registration Council (BNRC) or any State Nursing Council.
- Demonstrated experience in research, academic leadership, and student mentoring.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and academic documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Nursing (desirable).
- Research publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with NAAC, INC inspections, quality assurance, and institutional accreditation.
- Administrative experience such as departmental coordination, examination management, or academic planning.
- Ability to lead faculty teams and contribute to institutional growth.
