Duties and Responsibilities Chairside Assisting: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Patient Prep: Welcome patients, escort them to the treatment room, and prepare them for examination or treatment, ensuring their comfort. Sterilization & Safety: Sterilize instruments, set up treatment trays, and prepare materials according to treatment Lab Work: Pour, trim, and evaluate diagnostic casts; create temporary crowns and custom trays. Administrative Support: Keep patient electronic records accurate and up to date, and occasionally assist the front desk with scheduling or answering phones.
