Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Mycorrhiza Production Expert to lead our mycorrhiza production operations and drive research initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in both commercial-scale manufacturing and Research & Development (R&D) of mycorrhizal products. This role will play a critical part in improving production efficiency, ensuring product quality, and developing innovative mycorrhizal formulations for the agriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end commercial production of mycorrhizal biofertilizers and microbial products.
- Develop, optimize, and standardize production protocols for high-quality mycorrhiza formulations.
- Conduct research and development activities to improve product efficacy, spore multiplication, shelf life, and production efficiency.
- Scale up laboratory-developed technologies to commercial manufacturing.
- Ensure consistent production quality by implementing robust quality control measures and SOPs.
- Monitor production schedules, batch records, and inventory requirements.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Product Development teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation, production records, and process validation reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Mentor and train production personnel on best manufacturing practices and process improvements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and advancements in mycorrhizal research and biofertilizer manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Agricultural Microbiology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Plant Pathology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
- 7–8 years of hands-on experience in mycorrhiza production.
- Demonstrated experience in both commercial production and R&D of mycorrhizal products.
- Strong understanding of mycorrhizal fungi cultivation, inoculum development, formulation technologies, and microbial quality control.
- Experience in process optimization and commercial-scale production.
- Knowledge of biofertilizer regulations, quality standards, and manufacturing practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungi (AMF) production.
- Knowledge of carrier-based and liquid microbial formulations.
- Experience with production scale-up and technology transfer.
- Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to lead production teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

- Salary: ₹6–7 LPA (Negotiable based on experience and expertise)
