Roles and Responsibilities1. Student Counselling
- Counsel prospective students and parents about courses, career opportunities, and industry scope.
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable courses/programs.
- Provide clear information on course content, duration, fees, and career outcomes.
- Guide students in making the right career decisions.
2. Lead Handling & Conversion
- Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, website leads, and social media leads.
- Follow up regularly with interested candidates to convert them into admissions.
- Maintain a lead database and track conversion status.
- Achieve monthly admission targets.
3. Admission Process Management
- Assist students with registration and enrollment procedures.
- Ensure proper documentation and form filling.
- Coordinate with accounts for fee collection and payment tracking.
- Provide admission confirmation and onboarding support.
4. Course Promotion
- Explain the unique features and benefits of each course.
- Promote ongoing offers, discounts, and scholarship programs.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
5. Communication & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with students and parents.
- Maintain regular communication through calls, messages, and emails.
- Handle queries and provide prompt responses.
6. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with marketing, academic, and management teams.
- Share feedback about student requirements and market trends.
- Coordinate with trainers for demo sessions or counselling support.
7. Follow-ups & Retention
- Maintain follow-ups with pending and cold leads.
- Ensure students complete the admission process smoothly.
- Support in reducing dropouts by proper guidance at entry stage.
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly reports on:
- Leads generated
- Conversions
- Revenue
- Update CRM or records regularly.
- Report performance to Centre Manager / Sales Head.
9. Events & Outreach Activities
- Participate in seminars, career guidance programs, school/college visits.
- Represent the institute in education fairs and promotional events.
- Conduct or support demo sessions and awareness programs.
10. Professional Conduct
- Maintain a professional and friendly approach.
- Represent the institute’s brand and values effectively.
- Ensure ethical counselling practices (no false commitments).
