Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Purchasing
- Procure construction materials, equipment, tools, and services as per project requirements.
- Process purchase requisitions and generate purchase orders.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Coordinate with project teams to understand material requirements and schedules.
- Monitor purchase orders from issuance to delivery and closure.
Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Obtain quotations and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Conduct vendor performance evaluations periodically.
Cost Control & Budget Management
- Ensure procurement is carried out within approved budgets.
- Achieve cost savings through effective negotiations and sourcing strategies.
- Monitor market trends and material price fluctuations.
- Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
Material Coordination & Inventory Control
- Coordinate with stores and site teams for material receipt and verification.
- Monitor inventory levels and avoid material shortages or excess stock.
- Track material consumption and procurement planning.
- Ensure proper documentation of material receipts and deliveries.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, quotations, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the accounts department for payments.
- Prepare procurement reports, MIS reports, and purchase summaries.
Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Stores, Accounts, and Vendors.
- Resolve procurement-related issues and delivery delays.
- Support project teams in urgent and critical material requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
Experience
- 2–8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction industry.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
