About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Modern Trade Manager to lead and manage our modern trade operations across multiple retail outlets. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in handling modern trade accounts, setting up new retail counters, recruiting and managing promoters, and driving sales through effective retail execution and a willingness to travel frequently across assigned locations.
This role will play a key part in the successful launch and management of retail counters across modern trade stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end setup and execution of modern trade operations across multiple retail outlets.
- Recruit, train, deploy, and manage promoters for each assigned store.
- Ensure adequate manpower planning and timely replacement of promoters whenever required.
- Coordinate with store managers and category managers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor daily sales, stock movement, and outlet performance.
- Develop strategies to increase sales, improve visibility, and enhance customer engagement.
- Plan and execute in-store promotional activities, product sampling, and branding initiatives.
- Conduct regular market visits and store audits to ensure merchandising standards are maintained.
- Monitor product availability and coordinate with internal teams to prevent stock shortages.
- Analyze competitor activities, promotions, pricing, product placements, and recommend action plans.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and performance reports.
- Identify business opportunities and suggest innovative ideas to improve retail sales.
- Ensure promoters maintain excellent customer service and brand representation.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams for seamless execution.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month

During the initial setup phase (approximately 3–4 months), you will be required to travel to and stay in Delhi before taking charge of ongoing operations from the base location.
