Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Padi, Chennai
Job Summary:
We're seeking an experienced System Administrator to manage and maintain our organization's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems, networks, and databases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. System Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Ensure system security, performance, and uptime.
2. Network Administration:
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs).
- Ensure network security, performance, and reliability.
3. Database Administration:
- Manage and maintain databases, including data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
- Ensure data security, integrity, and availability.
4. Troubleshooting and Support:
- Troubleshoot system, network, and database issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
5. Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
- Ensure data integrity and availability.
6. Security and Compliance:
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect against cyber threats.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Experience: 4-8 years of experience in system administration, network administration, or database administration.
3. Technical Skills:
- Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, Unix.
- Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls.
- Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
- Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud.
4. Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Server+, are desirable.

2. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
3. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
