Matha Ayurveda Eye Hospital is looking for a young, active and responsible BAMS graduate to join our Moongode Hospital as a BAMS Ayurveda Hospital Operations Officer.
This is not a clinic consultation role. This is not a passive desk job. This is a hospital operations role for a medical professional who can take responsibility, use modern software tools, communicate clearly with patients and families, and ensure that important hospital activities are completed properly every day.
This role is suitable for a BAMS doctor who is NOT looking for regular clinical practice, but wants to build a serious career inside an Ayurveda hospital system.

About the Role
The BAMS Ayurveda Hospital Operations Officer will be responsible for patient-facing and hospital coordination activities at our Moongode Hospital.
The person selected for this role will work closely with the medical team, staff, patients, management and vendors / suppliers of the hospital. The role involves direct responsibility for patient admission support, billing and its explanation, patient communication, room coordination, discharge support, documentation and daily hospital activity follow-up.
This is a visible responsibility role. The selected candidate should be presentable, active, disciplined and willing to take ownership of work.
Key Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Patient Admission and Coordination:
- Admission process of new patients and bystanders during admission.
- Coordinating admission-related formalities.
- Explaining basic hospital procedures, room rules and treatment-related instructions as per hospital policy.
- Ensuring that the patient and bystander understand the medical guidelines clearly.
- Coordinating with the medical team before and after admission.
- Ensuring that admission details are properly recorded in the hospital system.
Billing and Payment Coordination
- Preparing and coordinating patient bills as per hospital procedure.
- Explaining billing details clearly and respectfully to patients and bystanders.
- Following up on payment timelines as per hospital policy.
- Coordinating with the accounts and management for billing-related matters.
- Ensuring that there is no confusion between the patient side and the hospital side regarding estimates, bills, payments and discharge medicines.
Patient Relations and Daily Communication
- Acting as a responsible communication point for non-medical patient matters.
- Listening to patient and bystander requirements and coordinating suitable action.
- Handling questions related to room, food, billing, admission, discharge and general hospital processes.
- Ensuring that patient concerns are properly conveyed to the correct department.Maintaining a calm, respectful and professional communication style at all times.
Hospital Activity Follow-Up
- Coordinating day-to-day hospital activities as assigned.
- Following up with support staff and helping ensure that work is completed.
- Using hospital software, WhatsApp, spreadsheets, online tools and AI-supported tools wherever required.
- Checking whether assigned tasks are completed properly.
- Reporting pending matters to the concerned senior person.
Documentation and Software Use
- Entering and checking patient-related data in hospital systems.
- Maintaining proper digital records as instructed.
- Using computer, internet, email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets and software tools confidently.
- Learning and using new technology tools introduced by the hospital.
- Maintaining accuracy in documentation, billing and patient communication.
Co-ordination with vendors and Suppliers
- Maintain communication and follow up with vendors and suppliers of the hospital
- Communicate the required matters to the vendors
Discharge and Follow-Up Support
- Coordinating discharge-related formalities.
- Helping patients understand discharge billing and medicine purchase procedures.
- Ensuring that required documents and instructions are properly coordinated.
- Supporting follow-up communication as per hospital process.
