Job Summary
Delhi Public School Jamnagar is seeking a dynamic, organized, and customer-focused Admission Counsellor to manage and support the student admission process. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong understanding of CBSE school admissions, and the ability to build positive relationships with prospective parents and students.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective parents and students regarding the school's academic programs, facilities, admission process, and school policies.
- Handle admission enquiries through walk-ins, phone calls, emails, and online platforms.
- Conduct campus tours and provide detailed information about the school's offerings.
- Coordinate the complete admission process from enquiry to enrolment.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, applications, follow-ups, and admissions using school databases.
- Follow up with prospective parents to ensure timely completion of admission formalities.
- Coordinate with academic and administrative departments for smooth admission processing.
- Assist in planning and executing admission drives, school events, and promotional activities.
- Prepare periodic admission reports and maintain admission-related documentation.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and represent the school professionally at all times.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline. A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Admission Counsellor in a CBSE school is mandatory.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi. Knowledge of Gujarati will be an added advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, counselling, and relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic school ERP/admission management software.
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
