The Senior Optometrist is responsible for providing advanced optometric care, supervising junior optometrists, ensuring accurate patient diagnosis, and maintaining high clinical standards. This role involves comprehensive eye examinations, clinical decision-making, patient counselling, and supporting surgeons in pre- and post-operative assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Optometry (B.Optom / M.Optom).
- Minimum 2–8 years of clinical experience in a reputed eye hospital.
- Strong knowledge of clinical optometry and diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent communication, patient handling, and team-leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple specialty clinics.
